James F. Getz

Founder and Chairman Emeritus of TriState Capital Bank

Jim Getz serves as Founder and Chairman Emeritus of TriState Capital Bank and has spent over 50 years working in the banking and financial services industry. Prior to founding TriState Capital Bank, Jim was the founder of Federated Bank and Trust, established in 1985. He later served as president of Federated Securities Corp., a position he held since 1993. Jim earned several promotions in more than two decades with Federated, serving as a corporate director from 1998 – 2001. His tenure at Federated was preceded by two senior positions at two other Pennsylvania banks: Girard Bank from 1973 – 1982 and First Pennsylvania Bank from 1982 – 1985. He holds a Master of Arts Degree from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from King’s College.

Brian S. Fetterolf

Chairman and CEO of TriState Capital Bank

Brian Fetterolf serves as Chairman and CEO of TriState Capital Bank. Brian has over 25 years of experience in financial services. He joined TriState Capital in 2009 and has held numerous positions within the company prior to his current roles. Before joining TriState Capital, Brian was with Macquarie Capital (Chicago) as a Senior Vice President in the Special Situations Advisory Group and was the Senior Vice President, Head of Legal and Structuring for Macquarie’s U.S. Commercial Real Estate Finance and Capital Markets Group. Prior to Macquarie, he was the Director, Structured Finance for LaSalle Bank/Bank of America’s Commercial Conduit Group (Chicago), and previously a corporate finance attorney. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University, a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds FINRA Series 7 (general securities representative) and Series 24 (general securities principal) securities licenses. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Honor Foundation, which assists Special Operations Forces transition from active duty to civilian careers.

Bart Brush

Bart Brush serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TriState Capital Bank, where he is responsible for the Bank’s finance, capital markets, accounting, and reporting teams. As chair of the bank’s Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO), Bart leads capital and liquidity strategy, interest rate risk management, securities portfolio investment, and regulatory stress testing activities. He also oversees client-facing initiatives such as the marketing and execution of interest rate swaps and options and the marketing of deposit products, as well as providing other Capital Markets related products, information, and insight. Prior to joining TriState Capital Bank in 2007, Bart was part of the Financial Institutions Group at PNC Capital Markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University as well as an MBA from The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, Bart resides in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife and three children, where he enjoys watching his kids play sports, spending time with friends and family, running, and coaching baseball.

Cynthia Meyer

Chief Risk Officer, TriState Capital Bank, Divisional Risk Officer

Cynthia is the Chief Risk Officer, where she is responsible for facilitating and developing and managing the Bank’s compliance and risk management programs, and also serves as the divisional risk officer. Prior to joining TriState Capital she had over 17 years of experience at PNC Financial Services where she most recently held the title of Business Credit and Vendor Finance Strategy & Planning Director. During Cynthia’s tenure at PNC she held positions in Business Credit, Corporate Banking Underwriting, and PNC Real Estate. Prior to her banking career, Cynthia spent time in accounting and financial analysis roles at IBM and Metallurg, Inc. She holds a BBA in Accounting from Notre Dame where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Dan Pavlick

Chief Information Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Dan serves as the Bank’s Chief Information Officer, leading our Technology team. He is responsible for the strategy and execution of technology initiatives across the Bank. This includes enterprise applications, infrastructure, and data ownership and strategy. Dan has spent most of his career working in the banking industry, having served in multiple leadership roles at PNC, where he oversaw the integration of its recent acquisition. Prior to that, Dan was CIO of Philips Respironics and worked in development consulting with Summa. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Duquesne University.

Karla Villatoro de Friedman

Executive Vice President - Chief Deposit & Administrative Officer, Corporate Secretary, TriState Capital Bank

Karla is EVP, Chief Deposit & Administrative Officer, and Corporate Secretary of TriState Capital Bank. Karla’s responsibilities include planning, performance, and governance of TriState Capital Bank, focusing on how we execute and deliver our business at the enterprise level. She leads our liquidity solutions, including National Deposit / Family Office / Treasury Management businesses, and Enterprise Data Governance and Reporting, as well as legal and regulatory engagement. She works closely with the Company’s Board of Directors, our Founder, the Chairman/ CEO, and senior officers, providing information on board best practices and tailoring the Board’s governance framework to fit the needs of the Company and its directors, as well as the expectations of stakeholders. She holds FINRA General Securities Representative (Series 7) and General Securities Principal (Series 24) licenses. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst with JPMorgan in New York City. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. Karla received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College. She was born in El Salvador and immigrated to the United States as a child.

Kyle O’Connor

Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Kyle serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for overseeing bank-wide strategy, marketing, product and client experience, as well as bank operations and technology. He joined TriState Capital in 2018 – prior to which he served as Chief Executive Officer of kWantera, a Pittsburgh, PA based software start-up backed by GE Ventures. Kyle spent nearly 10 years with GE Capital in a series of global roles in corporate M&A, business development, sales operations, product and originations across business units; and is a graduate of GE’s Corporate Leadership Staff (CLS) program. He began his career with PNC Bank. Kyle holds a B.A. in economics from Allegheny College and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Melvin M. Washington

Chief Audit Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Mel serves as Chief Audit Officer, where he is responsible for overseeing bank-wide internal audit initiatives. Mel joined the Bank in July 2014 in the capacity of Senior Vice President, Compliance and Risk Management, and was Chief Risk Officer in 2015. Prior to joining TriState Capital Mel had over 15 years of bank regulatory experience, having most recently worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland as a Banking Supervisor for community banking organizations. Prior to that, Mel served with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. He has a Bachelor of Science degree, with an emphasis in accounting, from Duquesne University.

Thaddeus Clements

Chief Human Resources Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Thad serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for the HR functions of talent recruiting, staffing forecasting, compensation design and administration, employee engagement and talent development.  He has more than 25 years of banking experience.  Prior to joining the Bank, Thad was EVP of Strategic Resources for First Commonwealth Financial Corporation where he reported to the corporation’s chairman and founder.  In that capacity he established the first corporate HR function at the holding company level.  In addition, he was involved in more than ten acquisitions and, in addition to HR, led corporate marketing, communications and strategic planning functions.  Thad has a Bachelor of Science and a MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MPM from Carnegie Mellon University.

Chuck Fawcett, Chief Banking Officer of TriState Capital Bank, is responsible for leading the Commercial Banking and Private Banking teams. In this role, Chuck oversees the Bank’s commercial & industrial lending, commercial real estate lending, equipment finance, fund finance, and treasury management across TriState Capital’s five regional offices. He also oversees our private banking business, which serves high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and businesses nationwide. Chuck has been with the bank since its inception, having served in various leadership roles over the years. Prior to joining TriState Capital, Chuck served as director of alliances trust sales/special projects consultant and vice president and director, marketing and product development, for nearly two decades for a Pittsburgh-based asset manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Eric Thompson

Chief Credit Officer – Commercial Banking, TriState Capital Bank

Eric Thompson serves as the Chief Credit Officer – Commercial Banking and has more than 20 years of banking experience. Eric began his banking career with M&T Bank as an underwriter in the business banking and middle market segment before leading a Business Banking credit team for PA and MD. He then joined Truist Bank (SunTrust at the time) and spent time as a Portfolio Manager in both middle market and equipment finance. In 2012, he moved to a start-up equipment finance business with Cole Taylor Bank (eventually part of Fifth Third Bank) as the first Portfolio Manager. He joined TriState Capital Bank in 2019 to create the credit component for TriState’s new equipment finance business and became the Senior Credit Officer in 2021 before moving to Chief Credit Officer – Commercial Banking in 2025. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

Patrick Stewart

Chief Credit Officer – Private Banking, TriState Capital Bank

Patrick Stewart serves as the Chief Credit Officer – Private Banking and has more than 15 years of banking experience. Patrick began his career progressing through roles at PNC Bank and PNC Wealth Management. He joined TriState as an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst while pursuing his MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to private bank management, Patrick’s last position was as a C&I underwriter. He is a CFA charterholder, Certified FRM and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington and Jefferson College.

Mary Grace Roos

Chief Credit Risk Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Mary “Grace” Roos serves as the Chief Credit Risk Officer and has over 25 years of banking experience. Grace began her career at PNC Bank, completing the Credit Training Program and progressing through several key credit areas and roles. She then joined Citizens Bank where she managed the Specialized Banking portfolio before joining TriState Capital in 2007. Grace holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Penn State University and an MBA from Duquesne University.

Theophilus Hudson

Chief Compliance Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Theophilus (Theo) Hudson serves as Chief Compliance Officer. He joined TriState Capital Bank in 2022 and has held multiple roles within the Compliance team prior to his current role. Theo came to TriState Capital Bank from KeyBank where had held the positions of Lead Auditor/Consumer Compliance, Second Line of Defense Operational Risk Analyst, Risk Evaluation and Assurance Team/Risk Analyst II, and Regulatory Intelligence Team/Compliance Associate. Theo taught banking law courses as an Adjunct Professor at Cleveland Marshall College of Law. Theo also worked with UBS Financial Services as a member of the Branch Audit Team for five years. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Cleveland State University as well as a Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

Monique Johnson

VP, AML Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Monique Johnson serves as Vice President, AML Officer. Prior to joining TriState Capital Bank, she spent the a year with U.S. Bancorp as an AVP/Audit Project Manager – Regulatory Compliance. Prior to then Monique was with Key Bank for seven years where she held the positions of VP/Senior Compliance Manager (Risk Evaluation & Assurance Risk Management Department); VP/Senior Compliance Manager (Financial Crimes Governance Risk Management Department); VP/Compliance & Control Analyst IV (Financial Crimes Governance Risk Management Department); and VP/Senior Audit Strategist/Risk Reviewer IV (Risk Review Group/Internal Audit Department). She also was a Bank Regulatory Examiner – BSA/AML in the Supervision and Regulation Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland for three years. Monique holds both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Criminology from IUP and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.

Glenn Matamoros

Continuity of Business Officer, TriState Capital Bank

Glenn serves as the Bank’s Continuity of Business Officer and has spent nearly a decade working in the banking industry. Glenn oversees the maturation of our Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Business program. In addition, he is responsible for the execution of this enterprise-level strategy, which is a critical area of focus for the Bank. Glenn is a seasoned executive with success in strategy, operations, and technology leadership in both large-company and entrepreneurial environments. He has proven success in multiple elite organizations, including being a Navy SEAL Team operator, as well as a former engagement manager at McKinsey & Co. He has a B.S. in finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
