Job Title: AML Analyst

Summary of the Position:
The AML Analyst will be a member of TriState Capital Bank’s Risk Group and will report directly to the TriState Capital’s AML Officer. The individual will be responsible for the daily review and analysis of alerts generated by TriState Capital’s automated customer, account, and transaction monitoring system.
Primary Functions of the Position:
- Assists in the investigation of potential suspicious activity in or related to customer accounts, and preparation of reports concerning such activity
- Supports the daily review of certain large and/or complex transactions
- Reviews and analyzes both specific transactions and trends in customer accounts and identify and investigate activity that is not consistent with such customer’s expected activities
- Works with various proprietary software packages, the incumbent will be expected to communicate clearly with bankers and customers in the conduct of investigations and monitoring efforts and with Bank officers to report results
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law Enforcement, Social Sciences or related field. Prior banking experience in a related field can be a substitute
- Minimum 5 years of experience is required
- Basic knowledge of BSA/AML/USA Patriot Act/OFAC/CIP regulatory requirements for financial institutions
- Prior bank treasury, loan or deposit operations experience preferred
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Computer literate; basic proficiency in spreadsheet and database reporting applications; Microsoft Office Suite/internet navigation skills including proficiency with internet search engines
- Basic knowledge of FiServ FCRM, WireExchange, CWS and/or Signature Desktop a plus
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to understand and analyze specific transactions and trends within customer accounts
- Ability to manage multiple on-going matters simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills

Job Title: Know Your Customer (KYC) Business Advisory Lead

Job Summary:
The Know Your Customer (KYC) Business Advisory Lead is a member of TriState Capital Bank’s AML Compliance Team. The individual is responsible for managing TSC’s KYC strategy and providing business advisory support to ensure first line businesses are in compliance with the Bank’s second line KYC standards and AML Program.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Know Your Customer (KYC) Business Advisory Lead is responsible for governance, oversight, and execution of TSC’s KYC Program. This includes coordinating and supporting the day-to-day implementation of KYC standards, from customer onboarding through ongoing customer management. Strong KYC expertise is required to help execute on the Bank’s KYC requirements. KYC includes Customer Identification Program (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/Beneficial Ownership, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high risk customers at origination, origination screening (sanctions and non sanctions) and customer risk rating. This also includes assisting with policies and procedures and communicating requirements to business, operational and compliance stakeholders. Other responsibilities include:
- Preparing relevant KYC reporting metrics.
- Managing the CIP exception management process.
- Managing the CRR process.
- Assisting with and/or leading KYC projects, strategic initiatives as well as issue resolution.
- Partnering with operations to ensure the Bank’s KYC requirements are implemented.
- Advising businesses on KYC requirements for all customer types and products.
- Assisting in KYC related training and communication efforts.
- Understanding key onboarding systems required to manage and execute all components of the KYC.
- Remaining current and knowledgeable about new and changing KYC regulations.
- Providing support for KYC and internal audits, regulatory exams and other third party reviews.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- CAMS Certified.
- 5+ years of experience in AML Compliance is required.
- Experience in reviewing Know Your Customer (KYC) files for complex banking products and performing analysis of customer information/transactions and preparing high risk customer reviews.
- Subject matter knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC and FinCEN regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance, accounting, law enforcement or social sciences-related field.
- Prior Financial Institution experience preferred.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Internet navigation skills including proficiency with internet search engines.
- Knowledge of AML customer risk related controls.
- Basic knowledge of FiServ FCRM, WireExchange, CWS and/or Signature Desktop a plus.
- Ability to understand and analyze specific customer and product types.
- Excellent research skills including experience with online research tools.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
