Marketing VP

Summary of the Position:

The Marketing VP will use strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to expand TriState Capital Bank’s unique profile through client acquisition, retention, and brand strengthening and awareness. Working directly with the Product & Business Development SVP and business line leaders, the Marketing VP will amplify the reach of the TriState brand and value proposition across all of our fast-growing business lines, including Private Banking, Treasury Management. Commercial Banking, Equipment Finance, and Commercial Real Estate.

 

Primary Functions of the Position:

  • Develop detailed, and executable, regional market & product line marketing plans
  • Own overall execution of marketing plan tactics from concept development to delivery, across lending and deposit products
  • Create and deliver consistent and relevant value proposition and messaging through mediums including web, email, print collateral, and commercial/professional social tools
  • Directly write, or partner to write, highly impactful and relevant and compelling copy
  • Manage our third-party vendor relationships for creative and content production to deliver world class execution
  • Lead digital marketing efforts and campaigns including applicable professional social media, email, marketing automation, etc. using our existing technology infrastructure
  • Partner with Manager, Marketing to support sales efforts including collateral, marketing materials, website management, conference and event planning and execution

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar discipline; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of related marketing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience with automation software and campaign platforms (like HubSpot, Pardot, etc.)
  • Banking or financial services experience
  • Experience with advisor focused wholesaling preferred
  • Salesforce experience a plus

 

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Outstanding written (copy) and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills that lead teams and initiatives to timely execution
  • Proven problem-solving skills, and capacity to lead multiple projects at one time

 

SVP Product Manager – Deposits & Liquidity

Summary of the Position:

The SVP, Product Manager – Deposits & Liquidity is responsible for full lifecycle of product management across the Bank’s liquidity, treasury management, and deposit product portfolio – including all aspects of product assessment, design, development, and implementation. In addition, this role will work closely with the SVP, Business Development to evaluate new market and product opportunities that provide TriState Capital Bank clients with industry-leading liquidity products within a sound risk and compliance framework.
 

Primary Functions of the Position:

  • Works closely with bank customers, prospects, and the sales organization to understand the competitive market landscape and client needs, to build a full product strategy and roadmap
  • Develops business cases and make recommendations regarding product life cycles, additional features, technology design, and pricing strategy
  • Oversees and executes delivery of new product, service, and business initiatives
  • Leads projects and coordinates with other departments to bring new products to market; Acts as a central quarterback, collaborating and partnering with teams in Technology, Operations, Sales, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Legal
  • Balances resources, capacities, constraints, and opportunities among functional areas within the company to achieve the best and most effective execution/result for all stakeholders
  • Ensures that each product can be effectively marketed and meets all compliance/risk management requirements
  • Manages existing product portfolio to ensure the Bank continues to deliver on expectations throughout customer lifecycle; provides continual value to clients
  • Continually monitors customer, market, and internal feedback to identify product opportunities and challenges
  • Serves as the voice of the customer on product decisions according to the ‘customer-first’ guiding light

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area of study required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in commercial banking
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in product development or product management
  • Experience in a B2B industry preferred
  • Experience building and implementing new banking products and solutions
  • Experience with banking regulations and compliance frameworks is a plus
